Omni group head Anwar Majeed along with others has been indicted in Pink Residence Reference on Thursday (today).
An Accountability Court in Islamabad on Thursday, indicted Omni group head Anwar Majeed, along with Abdul Ghani Majeed and others in Pink Residency Reference.
Accountability Court Judge Azam Khan read the indictment to which the accused denied all charges and pleaded innocence.
National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has accused Anwar Majeed, Abdul Ghani Majeed, former Assistant Commissioner Muhammad Garho and others of unlawful conduct, misuse of authority and illegal allotment of 30 acres of land causing Rs 2.5 billion worth of loss to the national exchequer.
The reference filed by the anti-graft watchdog also cites the ongoing fake bank account case regarding misuse of public offices in favor of Pink Residency project.
The court has summoned three key witnesses to appear before the court on next hearing. The case has been adjourned till October 16th.
