Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has recommended fuel price hike of up to Rs 3.25 per liter in its summary sent to the Petroleum Division.
In its summary, OGRA has recommended an increase of Rs 3.25 per liter for diesel, and Rs 1.90 per liter for petrol.
The decision regarding the change in fuel prices was delayed due to May 8th to May 16th COVID-19 lockdown measures, said the OGRA spokesperson.
It is to be noted that the government had maintained fuel prices throughout Ramzan in order to provide relief to the public.
Currently, petrol is being sold at Rs 108.56 per liter, whereas diesel is being sold at Rs 110.76 per liter across Pakistan.
Meanwhile, current Kerosene oil rate is Rs 80 per liter, whereas light diesel oil (LDO) is being sold at Rs 77.65 per liter.
