KARACHI: In a video message, Bilawal Bhutto said that: “This Eid-ul-Fitr has come at a time when the entire world is engulfed by a deadly pandemic and the Muslims all over the world are braving the disease. Pakistan’s grief has doubled with the ill-fated plane crash in which many have lost their loved ones.”
He appealed the people to adapt simplicity while observing this Eid and dedicate the day to country’s martyrs and the brave healthcare professionals who are struggling to save people’s lives from the deadly coronavirus while putting their own and the lives of their families at risk.
He also urged the public to offer Eid prayers at home or strictly follow government’s defined SOPs in case of offering the prayers outside.
