Nusrat Shahbaz, wife of PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif has been declared a ‘proclaimed offender’ by Lahore Accountability Court on Tuesday (today).
As per details, an Accountability Court in Lahore, declared Shehbaz Sharif’s wife, Nusrat Shehbaz a ‘proclaimed offender’ in money laundering case.
The development comes as Nusrat Shehbaz was notified multiple times to appear before the court.
She was granted a 30-day respite which had expired.
Meanwhile, accountability court’s Judge Jawadul Hassan extended Shehbaz Sharif, and his son Hamza Shahbaz’s judicial remand till December 12th.
Furthermore, Advocate Amjad Pervez – Sharif family’s lawyer failed to appear before the court as he was busy in matters pertaining to Hamza Shahbaz’s bail plea in Supreme Court of Pakistan (SC).
It is to be noted that, National Accountability Bureau (NAB), had accused former CM Punjab Shehbaz Sharif along with his several family members of owning assets worth up to Rs 7,328 million.
A total of 20 individuals have been named in the reference.
Shehbaz Sharif’s wife Nusrat Shehbaz, sons Hamza and Suleman and daughters Rabia Imran and Javeria Ali have been named in the NAB reference.
