Nong Rong has been appointed as the new Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan replacing Yao Jing.
According to details Chinese government has appointed Mr Nong Rong as its ambassador to Pakistan replacing Mr Yao Jing who has been transferred back to headquarters in Beijing.
Mr Nong Rong is said to have been an expert on trade and commerce.
He is a political appointee and in-contrast with his predecessor this is his first time serving in Pakistan in any capacity.
He has replaced Mr Yao Jing who had spent around 11 years in Pakistan and had served in three various capacities on behalf of the Chinese government.
