An Accountability Court issued non-bailable arrest warrants for Nusrat Shehbaz and Rabia Imran, wife and daughter of opposition leader Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday.
Judge Syed Jawadul Hassan heard the money laundering case against Nusrat Shehbaz and Rabia Imran, wife and daughter of former Punjab Chief Minister and current PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif.
During the hearing, the court expressed displeasure over Nusrat Shehbaz and Rabia Imran’s failure to appear before the court despite multiple warnings.
The court issued non-bailable arrest warrants for Ms Nusrat and Ms Rabia in money laundering case filed against them by National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
Hamza Shehbaz did not attend the hearing on accounts of being infected with COVID-19, whereas another co-accused named Javeria left the court after marking her attendance.
Furthermore, the court directed Foreign Office (FO) to submit its report about Salman Shehbaz and Haroon Yousuf on the next hearing.
The case has been adjourned till October 5th .
