Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) leader Nehal Hashmi, along with his two sons secured bail in police assault case on Saturday (today).
Senior PML-N leader Nehal Hashmi along with his two sons Barrister Naseer Hashmi and Faheem Hashmi secured bail from a local court in police assault case.
The trio was arrested on Friday night a day earlier after being involved in a scuffle with policemen in Malir’s Kalaboard area.
FIR No 324/20 was registered against Nehal Hashmi and his sons in Saudabad Police station by Saudabad SHO Rana Haseeb on charges of assaulting, threatening and abusing policemen.
According to details, Nehal Hashmi’s family was involved in an altercation with a third party, and when the police intervened to inquire about the matter, Nehal Hashmi’s sons purportedly initiated a scuffle with them as well.
However, Nehal Hasmi and his sons have turned downed such allegations and have contended that policemen misbehaved with their female family members to which they only reacted.
A video has also surfaced showing Nehal Hashmi and his sons being involved in physical altercation with the police personnel.
