The NED University of Engineering and Technology, on Tuesday, announced a 20 per cent reduction in semester fees amid COVID-19 crisis in the country.
Dr Sarosh Hashmat Lodi – Vice Chancellor NED University, has stated that the university will charge students with semester fees slashed by 20 per cent.
Furthermore, Dr Sarosh Hashmat Lodi also announced that the university will also completely waive off the hostel rent for the students, who have been residing in university hostel and belong from various parts of the country.

Prior to this, University students from across the country had protested outside the office of the Higher Education Commission (HEC) in Islamabad on June 3.
The students had condemned the universities charging semester fees amid coronavirus crisis and demanded exemption from semester fees.
It is to be noted that last week, University Of Karachi announced its plan for conducting online classes amid coronavirus crisis as per the instructions of HEC.
