The National Coordination Committee (NCC) has directed all scheduled and unscheduled exams to be postponed due to the worsening virus pandemic in the country.
All provincial governments including Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) and Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) have been directed by the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training to postpone all scheduled and unscheduled examinations as agreed upon by NCOC.
The decision comes as various educations institutions had requested the permission to conduct examinations while strictly enforcing government standard operating procedures (SOPs) and guidelines amid virus crisis.

However, the NCC headed by Prime Minister Imran Khan has decided to temporarily postpone all examinations across the country to ensure the safety of pupils.
It is to be noted that educational institutions across the country have been closed till July 15, after which the virus situation will be revised and assessed, and decisions will be made regarding the opening or extending the closure of educational institutions accordingly.
