Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s cousins, have been instructed by a banking court in Lahore to appear before the court in bank loan default case.
Nawaz Sharif’s cousins, Javed Shafi, Tariq Shafi, Zahid Shafi and Shahid Shafi have been instructed to appear before the court on June 6 in matters pertaining to bank loan default case.
According to details, Javed Shafi, Tariq Shafi, Zahid Shafi and Shahid Shafi are accused of defaulting on loans worth up to Rs700 million for Ittifaq and Kashmir sugar mills.
The court was also informed by the counsel representing various banks, that the accused have been previously notified of being defaulters but have consistently failed in addressing them.
The court, upon hearing the remarks have ordered the four accused individuals to appear before the court on June 6.
