National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has announced its decision to seize vehicles of Nawaz Sharif and Asif Ali Zardari in Toshakhana case.
As per the details, the accountability watchdog has decided to seize vehicles of former prime minister and Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) leader Nawaz Sharif, and ex-president of Pakistan and co-chairman Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Asif Ali Zardari in Toshakhana case.
NAB has already suspended the ownership of three of the vehicles belonging to the Asif Ali Zardari, which include two BMWs and one Lexus luxury car.
Meanwhile Nawaz Sharif’s ownership of one Mercedes has also been suspended, whereas NAB has been directed by accountability court to submit detailed record of all vehicles by August 5.

The development comes after accountability court had issued bailable arrest warrant for Nawaz Sharif in Toshakhana case in May earlier this year, followed by issuance of non-bailable arrest warrants in June.
It is pertinent to know that NAB has accused Yousaf Raza Gilani of misusing his authority as the prime minister of Pakistan by allowing government vehicles to be used by Nawaz Sharif and Asif Ali Zardari for their personal use.
