An accountability court, on Thursday, directed National Accountability Bureau (NAB) to file a supplementary reference against senior vice president PML-N Shahid Khaqan Abbasi.
The accountability court judge Mohammad Azam Khan heard the Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) terminal case the former prime minister and PML-N leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi.
The court has directed the accountability watchdog to file a supplementary reference against the ex-premier.

Furthermore, during the hearing NAB requested the court to grant more time for it to complete the investigation, upon which the court directed NAB to file a reference against Mr Abbasi till July 3.
It is to be noted that NAB is investigating misuse of authority and violations of standard rules, regulations and procedures by Shahid Khaqan Abbasi as the Prime Minister of Pakistan in matters pertaining to awarding an LNG import contract along with the failure to abide by Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) rules.
In addition to it, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, on Monday, announced that he had contracted COVID-19 coronavirus and is self-isolating in his home as per the doctors’ recommendations.
