ISLAMABAD: The Motorway Police has announced to close the motorways as measures to contain the spread of the coronavirus pandemic in the country.
However, the spokesperson to Motorways also pointed out a few exceptions like private vehicles carrying only two people in case of an “unavoidable reason” as well as the vehicles carrying essential commodities.
Currently, there are 1,118 confirmed cases of COVID-19 throughout the country, with eight deaths reported.
