Karachi is expected to receive more sporadic rainfall within the next 24 hours, warns Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).
According to PMD, the city will experience temperatures between 37 to 39 degree Celsius and winds up to 18 km per hour. The city is expected to receive sporadic rainfall spells within the next 24 hours.
Prior to this, the metropolis received heavy rainfall on Friday resulting in extensive flooding on the streets and prolonged power outages in the city.
Several areas including Jamshed Road, Model Colony, Saddar, Clifton, Malir, Gulistan-e-Johar, Dhoraji, Bahadurabad, PECHS, Soldier Bazaar, University Road, Gulshan-e-Hadid, Abdullah Haroon Road, Shah Faisal Colony, Shahrah-e-Faisal, Fawwara Chowk, M.A. Jinnah Road, and Garden reported substantial rainfall.

As per the details provided by PMD PAF Faisal Base received the heaviest downpour with 63.55 millimeters of rainfall followed by Saddar – 41 mm, Gulshan-e-Hadeed 40 mm, University Road – 16 mm, Jinnah Terminal – 15 mm, PAF Base Masroor – 19.8 mm and Nazimabad – 9 mm, whereas several areas across the city received light and heavy rains.
