Pakistan’s National Security Advisor – Mooed Yusuf has categorically denied the possibility of any talks with India unless New Delhi reverses its August 5th 2019 decision regarding IIOJK.
In an interview with Indian journalist Karan Thapar for The Wire, NSA Moeed Yusuf stressed that no Pakistan will hold no talks with India unless the latter revokes its unilateral, aggressive actions it has taken in occupied Kashmir.
“Pakistan hopes that the possibility of moving forward remains if the Indian government realized its mistakes in IIOJK and took the right steps to reverse the situation on the ground. If India takes such actions and ends terrorism inside Pakistan, then both countries can work towards resolving their core issues which will benefit the common citizens of both countries,” stated Moeed Yusuf.
During the 75-minute long interview, Moeed Yusuf accentuated India’s direct involvement in sponsoring terrorism in Pakistan.
There is undeniable evidence of India’s miscreancy in the region and there were clear links of Indian involvement in the Lahore blast — which left three dead and dozens injured, said Moeed Yusuf.
India will have to stop terrorism in Pakistan, he added.
Lamenting on Indian PM Narendra Modi’s Hindutva ideology, Mooed Yusuf questioned Karan Thapar as to why the Indian premier was referred and compared with as Adolf Hitler in his own country.
BJP-led government in India is working on a fascist agenda, remarked Moeed Yusuf.
Expressing his views on Afghanistan issue, the NSA said that Pakistan was seeking a political solution to settle the differences in the war-torn country.
However, alluding to India, he said countries that were spoilers in Afghanistan and did not want peace in the country must desist from their negative actions.
