Munir Orakzai – a Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA) Member of National Assembly (MNA) fell ill and was shifted to hospital after his health deteriorated amid National Assembly session on coronavirus, on Friday.
As per the details, Munir Orazkai was attending National Assembly session on coronavirus in Islamabad. He even arrived at the session in a wheelchair, however, his health deteriorated during the parliamentary session, upon which he was immediately shifted to the Polyclinic Hospital.
It is to be noted that Munir Orakzai had tested positive for coronavirus last month, and was even put on ventilator while being treated at Hayatabad medical complex.
“My father was on a ventilator at Hayatabad Complex last night. He is doing much better now,” his son Akhtar Munir Orakzai had said.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has reported the highest COVID-19 death toll in the country with 284 casualties, whereas a total of 5,423 coronavirus cases have been reported in the province.
