Military officials are scheduled to brief parliamentary leaders on National Security on November 11th (Wednesday).
According to details, National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser has called on a session of parliamentary leaders from both National Assembly and Senate at 2 pm on Wednesday.
The parliamentary leaders will be briefed by military officials on matters pertaining to national security.
PTI’s Deputy Parliamentary Leader Shah Mahmood Qureshi and PML-N’s Khawaja M Asif, PPP’s Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Asad Mehmood from Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA) have been invited to attend the session.
The meeting will take place in the Committee Room Number 2 on Wednesday.
Furthermore, Muhammad Akhtar Mengal from Balochistan National Party (BNP), Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s (MQM) Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui and Khalid Hussain Magsi from Balochistan Awami National Party are also invited.
Other leaders expected to attend the session include, Grand Democratic Alliance’s (GDA) Ghos Bakhsh Khan Mahar, Awami Muslim League’s Sheikh Rashid Ahmed, PML-N’s Senator Mushahid Ullah Khan, PPP’s Sherry Rehman, Senator Siraj ul Haq, Sitara Ayaz, Muahmmad Usman Khan kakar, Dr Jahanzeb Jamaldini, Aurangzeb Khan and Anwar ul Haq Kakar.
Moreover, several federal minister including Pervez Khattak, Ijaz Ahmed Shah, Ali Amin Gandapur, Shafqat Mahmood, Asad Umar, Shibli Faraz. PM’s adviser Babar Awan and SAPM Dr Moeed Yusuf have also been invited to attend the meeting.
Additionally, invitations have also been sent to Attorney General Khalid Javed, interim CM of GB Mir Afzal, AJK President Masood Khan and AJK PM Raja Farooq Haider.
