Prime Minister Imran Khan is set to visit Diamer Bhasha Dam to kick off mega construction work today, says Asim Saleem Bajwa.
PM Imran Khan is expected to visit Dimaer Bhasha Dam Site to kick off mega construction work at the 4,500 megawatt project today.
According to Asim Saleem Bajwa Special Assistant to Prime Minister (SAPM) on Information and Broadcasting and chairman CPEC Authority, the project will create 16,000 new jobs, whereas 1.2 million acres of land will be irrigated.

“Mobilization for Diamer Bhasha. Historic milestone as PM kicks off mega construction work at Diamer Bhasha Dam,” he tweeted.
The project is scheduled for completion in the year 2028-29, and will add 8.1 million acre feet (MAF) of water storage capacity to the national grid.
