The local government of Sindh has started digitizing all Municipal departments of Sindh for the better quality of public facilitation, all matters will be streamlined online, here on Monday.
Under the direction of Secretary Local Government Housing and Town Planning Najam Ahmad Shah, work has been started on a project to fully digitalize the Sindh Local Government Department, under which all departmental matters would be streamlined through the online portal.

Regarding the details of this important development, Sindh Local Government Department Secretary Najam Ahmad Shah said that the project is being launched to bring the Local Government Housing and Town Planning Department in line with modern requirements and world standards. An online portal will be available for execution in which registration of all staff including attendance records, service records, official correspondence and other necessary matters will be easily processed.
In connection with this important development, all official correspondence is being embellished with QR codes so that no trace of forgery remains. The details of all mails received and sent to the department will also be saved through this online portal. Details of which officer is performing his duties in which district or tehsil will also be available online.
Secretary Local Government Sindh Najam Ahmad Shah, who put this useful and unique project into practice, said that this step had to be taken to keep the Sindh Local Government Department on the path of development and success. Work has begun and soon the fruits of this sincere effort will begin to be seen.
