The Punjab Excise and Taxation Department on Monday, reported its most expensive being registered with a Lahore resident paying whopping Rs 4.5 million as registration fee.
Arujmand – the owner of Rs115 million Lamborghini Huracan Spyde, paid an unprecedented amount in registration fee at Punjab Excise and Taxation Department of Rs 4.532 million.
Authorities, at first had refused to register the car as they were simply unable to do so as their system was unable to register car worth more than Rs 100 million.
The department then upgraded its system to be able to register Mr Arujmand’s Lamborghini.
Prior to this, the most expensive car registered in Punjab was a Mercedes GT worth roughly around Rs 100 million with a registration fee of Rs 3.5 million.
