Karachi: Karachi Port Trust (KPT) in collaboration with Ministry of Maritime Affairs has donated six truckload of relief goods to federal government amid COVID-19 outbreak.
Relief goods, comprising of 3,000 ration bags were handed over to Governor Sindh Imran Ismail, who will oversee their distribution to deserving families in Hyderabad and other places.
Speaking to the press along with opposition leader in Sindh Assembly Firdous Shamim Naqvi, Governor Sindh Imran Ismail stated that they intend to disburse 50,000 ration bags as part of the relief initiative directed by Prime Minister Imran Khan.
Imran Ismail revealed that at least 120,000 youth have joined Corona Relief Tiger Force from Sindh alone, and 7,000 ration bags have already been distributed as ration bags are being distributed with the help of philanthropists and various welfare organizations in the province.
