Karachi Circular Railway (KCR) has started its operations between Orangi and City station on Thursday (today).
As per details, KCR has been made operational on Orangi-City station track after multiple test runs last week.
The train consisting of six coaches (bogies) was admired by the onlookers who have not seen any train running on Orangi-City station route for quite some time.
The Orangi-City station KCR track spans across 14 kilometers and comprises of six stations along with 12 level crossings.
Pakistan Railways (PR) has notified that KCR-1 Up will leave from Orangi station and will pass through Manghopir, SITE, Shah Abdul Latif, Baldia, Lyari, and Wazir Mansion while en route to City station.
