The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) on Saturday released the rainfall data for Karachi from August 27 to August 31.
As per the released data, Karachi’s Surjani Town area recorded the highest rainfall 226 mm, making it the most affected area during this period.
Quaidabad and Gulshan-e-Hadid were among the areas with higher rainfall, recording 161 mm and 175 mm, respectively. Keamari recorded 105.3 mm, and Gulshan-e-Mimar saw 75.6 mm of rain. In Korangi, 100.5 mm of rain was recorded, and Bin Qasim received 56.3 mm.
Other areas in Karachi experienced varied levels of rainfall.
The Old Airport area received 77.5 mm of rain, while Jinnah Terminal recorded 75 mm. PAF Faisal saw 95 mm of rainfall, and PAF Masroor received 62.5 mm. Meanwhile, Mausamyat area recorded 93.3 mm of rain.
