University of Karachi (UoK), is set to hold its entrance examinations on December 12 and 13 this weekend.
The UoK entrance exams for Master’s programme will be held on Saturday December 12th followed by entry tests for Bachelor’s programme the next day December 13th Sunday.
Around 10,210 candidates are scheduled to appear in the entrance exams.
Admission candidates are directed to download their admit cards from UoK website. The details regarding examination center, room number are mentioned on admit cards.
According to Dr Saima Akhtar – in charge KU Directorate of Admissions, candidates must report to their allotted examination centers by 10 am and must bring along their original CNIC and admit card.
The 100-minute-long exam will start at 11 am.
As per the statistics, 500 applicants applied for entry-test-based online admissions for 2021 for Master’s programme in various fields including Business Administration, Criminology, Commerce, Mass Communication, Public Administration, and Pakistan Studies Centre.
UoK has received 9,660 online application forms for Bachelor’s programme in varying departments such as Applied Chemistry and Chemical Technology, Chemical Engineering, Commerce, Computer Science, Criminology, Applied Physics, Biotechnology, Business Administration, Education, Environmental Studies, Food Science and Technology, International Relations, Mass Communication, Public Administration, Petroleum Technology, Special Education and Teacher Education.
Candidates appearing in the entrance exams will be subjected to strict COVID-19 SOPs and preventive measures.
