Three doctors are reported to have died due to COVID-19 in Karachi in the last 24 hours.
As per Sindh Health Department, another three doctors have succumbed to COVID-19 coronavirus in the metropolis in the last 24 hours.
The deceased include Dr Tahir Amin – a retiree of Jinnah Hospital, Dr Waseem Uddin and Dr Abdul Sattar – former DG Health.
A total of 103 healthcare workers have died due to the novel virus in the country so far.
Meanwhile, the total tally of infected healthcare workers stand at 10,925 with 6,791 doctors, 1,360 nurses and 2,774 hospital staff.
Sindh has reported 191,246 coronavirus cases along with 3,109 casualties so far.
Karachi has remained the virus hotspot reporting highest number of coronavirus cases. The district wise breakdown of the metropolitan city is as follows;
