Three civilians were electrocuted to death in different areas of the city in today’s rain – Wednesday afternoon in Karachi.
A labourer working in a house, at model colony Karachi, died on the spot from an electric shock when the wire fell on him. A man riding at the Karsaz also faced an electric accident from the tangled wires and embraced death on the point. The deceased has been shifted to the Jinnah Hospital.
One more roustabout died immediately in Karimabad, while he was doing his work, close by Darul ul Islam mosque. His dead body has been shifted to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.
Residents complained failure of electrical services, instantly after the rain.
According to people of Landhi, Malir, Baldia, Orangi town, North Nazimabad, North Karachi, Surjani town, Quaidabad and PECHS – they don’t have access to the electricity, since last 12 hours.
Even in locations where is no load shedding issues occurred, power outages for two to three hours.
K-electric’s online system said that most of the feeders have tripped in several locations. The organization have malfunctioned to make timely recoveries to maintain an accumulation.
