The Special Services Unit (SSU) along with local police, on Monday, arrested an Additional Sub-Inspector (ASI) of Sindh Police for having links with hostile Indian spy agency RAW.
The suspect was arrested from Gulistan e Jauhar area of Karachi.
As per the details, the suspect – ASI Shehzad Pervez, was stationed at Shahrah e Faisal police station in Karachi.
He has been accused of working for Muttahida Qaumi Movement London’s ‘Mehmood Siddiqui Group’ which has evident connections with Indian spy agency RAW.
Two hand grenades have been
recovered from the suspect, while further investigation is underway, said
police officials.
