According to Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), Karachi observed its coldest night of the year between Monday-Tuesday.
As per PMD statistics, Karachi reported a minimum temperature of 7°C during the previous night. The metropolis is expected to witness temperatures between 7°C to 9°C throughout the day today.
Light winds blowing from the northeast have contributed to the city’s cold weather with humidity level recorded to be at 39 per cent.
Karachi is expected to observe cold dry weather for the next 24 hours.
Meanwhile, dense fog has severely affected Lahore and adjacent regions.
PMD had earlier warned Karachiites of a severe cold wave expected in the metropolis with temperatures dropping below 10°C.
