Multiple injuries have been reported in Karachi’s Shireen Jinnah colony blast on Tuesday (today).
As per details, at least six people are said to have been injured after a bomb exploded near a public passenger bus at Shireen Jinnah colony on Tuesday.
Initially, the blast was suspected to have been a cylinder explosion. However, no such evidence has been found to be backing this claim.
According to SSP District South Sheeraz Nazeer has confirmed that the blast was caused by explosive material.
Police has also recovered ball bearings from the site, whereas bomb disposal squad has been called to further examine and investigate the incident.
The wounded have been shifted to a local hospital.
As per the police sources, the explosive material was likely to be planted at the gate of the bus terminal and the passenger bus was caught up in the blast.
