American Rapper and record producer Kanye West, on Sunday, announced to run for United States (US) President in upcoming 2020 elections.
The American songwriter and producer took to social media to announce his decision to run for US President in November 2020 US Presidential elections.
“I am running for president of the United States,” he tweeted.
The 43-year old singer who often end up being the highlight of various controversies, said that he intends to ‘unify the vision of American promise’.

Acclaimed entrepreneur, philanthropist and SpaceX and Tesla founder Elon Musk has also voiced his support for Kanye West’s US Presidential bid in November 2020 elections stating that West has ‘his full support’.
However, the 21-time Grammy winner, according to political and legal experts, is quite late in announcing his presidential bid as the elections is mere four months away and he has already missed the deadline to be registered as in independent presidential candidate in various states.
It is to be noted that, prior to this Kanye West has previously announced to run for US president back in 2015 as well at 2015 MTV Video Music Awards.
