Justice Qazi Faez Isa’s wife is reported to have filed an application for FIR, seeking protection from death threats.
Sarina Faez Isa – wife of Justice Qazi Faez Isa, has filed an application to SHO of the Secretariat police station for lodging a First Information Report (FIR) against a man she identifies as Agha Iftikhar-ud-Din Mirza for threatening both Justice Qazi Faez Isa and her.
“I am the wife of Mr. Justice Qazi Faez Isa, who is a judge of the Supreme Court of Pakistan and whom a death threat has been extended,” read the FIR application.
Sarina Isa also submitted the voice recording, in a USB, as an undeniable evidence of the threats that she has received.
The recording, from 1 minutes 45 seconds to 2 minutes 35 seconds, reveals a man mentioning Justice Qazi Faez Isa’s name and suggesting that anyone involved in financial embezzlement must be handed over to a firing squad.

Furthermore, Sarina Isa in her application, highlighted that certain powerful people are unhappy with the Supreme Court’s verdict acquitting her husband and rejecting the government reference against her.
“I suspect that this death threat to my husband is in continuation of what we have been facing,” she wrote. It is to be noted that Supreme Court of Pakistan on June 19, had rejected government reference against Justice Qazi Faez Isa and acquitted him from the accusations of holding undeclared properties and assets abroad.
