Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) Chief Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman is scheduled to meet Maryam Nawaz and other sernior PML-N leadership today.
Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman – JUI head and President Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), is scheduled to meet Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) Vice President Maryam Nawaz to mull over recent political situation and dynamics.
The meeting will also discuss future anti-government strategy against PM Imran Khan led PTI government.
The announcement was made my PML-N spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb. This will be the first meeting with JUI-F Chief Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman as PDM President.
It is pertinent to know that Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman was elected as PDM President last week, a major political alliance including PML-N, PPP, JUI-F and other opposition parties against PM Imran Khan’s PTI government.
PDM is expected to hold its first major anti-government public meeting in Gujranwala on Oct 16 – the first of six public meetings announced by the anti-government alliance.
According to PML-N leader Ahsan Iqbal, PDM’s second public meeting is scheduled for October 18th in Karachi followed by third in Quetta on October 25th, fourth in Peshawar on November 22nd, fifth in Multan on November 30th and the last one in Lahore on December 13th.
