Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) leader Shabbir Ahmed has been arrested in Mansehra under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA).
As per detail, this is the first case registered under the amended PECA law in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

According to reports, Ahmed was taken into custody after his speech against the government and state institutions on Kashmir Solidarity Day.
The accused will be presented before an anti-terrorism court in Abbottabad today.
