Islamabad police, on Saturday, once again refused to register a case against US blogger Cynthia Ritchie for her remarks against Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leadership.
Bani Gala police station has informed additional sessions judge’s court about its decision not to register case against American blogger Cynthia Ritchie on PPP leader Waqas Abbasi’s plea which sought legal action against the American blogger for her ‘misleading’ remarks against Benazir Bhutto and various other PPP leaders.

Islamabad police has cited its ‘jurisdiction’ concerns for its refusal to register case against Cynthia Ritchie, stating that this case falls in the jurisdiction of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and the latter should be consulted for any legal against the Ms Ritchie.
The court has adjourned the case June 24.
Prior to this, Additional District and Sessions Judge (ASJ) – Jahangir Awan, on June 15, had directed the FIA to register case against Ms Cynthia Ritchie on the plea filed by PPP’s Waqas Abbasi.
