Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has issued new directives for outbound international passengers directing them to submit COVID-19 test results before going abroad.
As per details, CAA has revised its travel advisory issuing new instructions for international travelers amid increasing COVID-19 cases.
The regulatory body has directed all outbound international passengers to submit their COVID-19 test results.
Furthermore, face masks have also been made mandatory for passengers as well as officials and Airport Security Force (ASF) personnel.
Airport employees, officials and other staff workers have been directed to inform the headquarters in case of any illness and must go into-self isolation/quarantine at their homes after approval from the concerned authorities/officials.
Meanwhile, video conferencing will be used for meetings said the notification issued by CAA.
Prior to this, CAA had already banned visitors at all airports in the country to curb the virus spread.
