Federal Education Minister – Shafqat Mahmood has announced that intermediate examinations in the country are likely to be held after June 15th.
Expressing his views on a talk show on a private news channel, Shafqat Mahmood noted that in light of government’s strict measures along with increasing COVID-19 vaccination, he is ‘very hopeful’ that intermediate exams will be held after June 15th across the country.
The federal minister accentuated upon the need to hold examinations or else students’ studies will be severely affected.
If examinations do not take place then no one will study, he said.

Furthermore, Shafqat Mahmood said that A-2 examinations are being held as per schedule across Pakistan.
Meanwhile, O level exams will be held in the October and November cycle and the same will be the case for A and AS level exams, he added.
It is pertinent to know that federal government on April 27th has announced postponement of all examinations till June 15th due to deadly third wave of COVID-19 coronavirus.
