KARACHI: Former Balochistan governor Syed Fazal Agha died at a private hospital in Karachi due to coronavirus.
He had tested positive for the virus a few days back and was brought to Karachi for medical treatment where he breathed his last.
Late Fazal Agha had also been a member of the Balochistan Assembly from the Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl. He served as the Balochistan governor during Nawaz Sharif’s last tenure and served as Senate deputy chairman in late 1980s.
Earlier, a PTI member of the Punjab Assembly from Gujranwala, Shaheen Raza had also passed away Lahore after testing positive for COVID-19.
