Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi, has resumed his office activities after recovering from COVID-19 coronavirus on Friday.
FM Shah Mahmood Qureshi took to social media reveal that he has resumed his office activities and expressed his gratitude for all the prayers and wishes.
“Thank you all for your good wishes and support. I am fortunate to be back in office today post COVID-19,” he tweeted.
The foreign minister also praised healthcare workers who have been at the frontlines in this fight against coronavirus pandemic and have selflessly devoted themselves to COVID-19 patients across the country.
The development comes as earlier, on Tuesday, FM Qureshi was discharged from combined military hospital (CMH) where he was being treated for COVID-19 coronavirus.

Prior to this, Pakistan’s Foreign Office had strongly condemned and refuted false Indian propaganda regarding FM Qureshi’s health as Indian media, social media were proactively claiming that Shah Mahmood Qureshi had in fact passed away due to coronavirus.
“We strongly condemn attempts by mischievous elements to hack Wikipedia page of FM Qureshi,” said the statement issued by FO.
