Karachi: Five people embraced death in different incidents after heavy rains whipped the metropolis –
Karachi welcomed massive rainfalls with opaque thunderstorm, cool breeze, in Sunday afternoon and today as well. Numerous locations of the city, together with Saddar, Gulistan-e-Johar, Shah-rai-Faisal, Chandrigar road, Safoora, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Nazimabad, Safoora, Defence and Clifton witnessed heavy cloudburst.
A 22-year-old man was electrocuted to death at Sunday afternoon in Landhi, meanwhile a five-year-old girl suffocated in water in a drain near Vita Chowrangi in Korangi – as declared to rescue teams.
A fifty-five-year-old electrician was electrocuted to death in the Garden area. He was embedding an electric motor.
A ten-year-old boy was electrocuted to death in Gulshan e Hadeed and a motorcyclist was assassinated to death after he knocked down in a drain in orangi town.
Temperature in the metropolis dropped and electricity grant has been cancelled in multiple areas.
Over 5oo tributaries be associated with K-electric have tripped, thrusting different areas into darkness.
The management has been asked that all the sacrificial animals be remained indoors and aside from electricity poles.

The heaviest rains were announced at University Road at Gulistan-e-Jauhar – 78.5 mm was reported. Surjani town witnessed 68.4 mm of rain. In Gulistan-e-Jauhar 60mm was reported while 55mm was recorded at the old airport and 42mm in Pehalwan Goth.
Several locations have been inundated with heavy rain water mixed with sewage. Nagan Chowrangi, Gurumandir, UP Morr, and Hassan Square are wholly inundated with divergent feet of water.
