The temperature in Karachi is expected to hit 45°C on Monday (today) as part of the new heatwave that has gripped the metropolitan city.
According to Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), the temperature in Karachi is expected to reach 45°C today in wake of the prevailing heatwave.
Karachiites are likely to experience the temperature much higher than it actually is due to an interruption in the sea breeze.

Based on present environmental and meteorological conditions, dust/thunderstorm-rain with isolated moderate to heavy falls with gusty winds of 40-60 Kmph are likely to occur in Thatta, Sujawal, Badin, Tharparker, Mirpurkhas, Umerkot & Sanghar districts during 17- 19 May 2021.
