Life is a gift of Allah (God) we should live it happily and adopt a positive, pragmatic approach in order to fulfill our goals and objectives in life.
Nowadays some people look disturbed even they have good mind and personality but they can’t do that what they want even they try but no result, And the reason is negativity. Do you know how many disadvantages of negativity? and how negativity destroys your life?
This is such a serious matter for every single person who lives in this era and breaths in this air. When you think negative, Verily you play with your health because negative thoughts constantly can weigh a person down both physically and mentally. You feel lazy, sometimes you feel ill and even you hate things and your life turns gloomy. The dangerous problem of depression is a result of negative thoughts due to this many people commit suicide every year.
An in-depth analysis may be conducted via examining suicide rates in various countries around the world.
Suicide Rate in Pakistan:
Pakistan’s suicide rate, as given by the world bank is, 7.28 per 1000 people in 2016 (the lowest rate in the 2006-2018 period). In 2015, the suicide rate in Pakistan was approximately 1.4 deaths per 100,000 inhabitants, one-seventh of the global average. Similarly, suicides only 1.2% of all deaths.
Suicide rate in India:
In 2016 the number of suicides in India had increased to 230,314. Suicide was the most common cause of deaths in both age groups of 15-29 years and 15-39 years. About 800,000 people die by suicide worldwide every year, of these 135,000 (17%) are residents of India, a nation with 17.5% of the world population.
Suicide rate in China:
According to a 2016 WHO report, China’s suicide rate is 9.7 people out of every 100,000. This rate places the country among the countries with the lowest suicide per capital in the world. From 2009-2011, 44% of all suicides occurred among those aged 65 or above and 79% among rural residents.
Suicide rate in America:
In 2018, there were 48,344 recorded suicides, up from 42,773 in 2014; according to the CDC’s national center for health statistics (NCHS). On average, adjusted for age, the annual U.S suicide rate increased 24% between 1999 and 2014, from 10.5 to 13.0 suicides per 100,000 people, the highest rate recorded in 28 years.
These are few countries having suicide rates of the last few years and so many others. This is not the only reason negative thoughts cause many diseases.
- Heart disease
- Asthma
- Obesity
- Diabetes
- Headache
- Gastrointestinal problem
- Alzheimer’s disease
- Accelerated ageing
- Premature Deaths
Now, every person needs to get rid of this then they can live better lives.
How can we avoid negative thoughts?
It is important to shift negative thoughts into positive thoughts before they can ruin your day and take a toll on your personal life.
- Ignore negative thoughts that enter the mind.
- Make time for positivity and work on addressing negative thoughts as soon as possible.
- Busy yourself with work and also take care of your health along with it.
- Take proper sleep and do exercise daily.
- Go for an outing in a week.
