A National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Court, on Tuesday, announced its decision to indict Hamza Shahbaz in Ramzan Sugar Mills case on May 12.
Senior Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) leader Hamza Shahbaz is the chief executive of the Ramzan Sugar Mills and has been accused of misappropriation of public funds by using government money to construct a drain at the Chiniot facility of Ramzan Sugar Mills at the time of his father, Shahbaz Sharif’s rule as Punjab’s Chief Minister.
It is to be noted that NAB, had filed the reference against Shahbaz Sharif and his son Hamza Shabaz back in February 2019.
Hamza Shahbaz is currently on bail which he secured from Lahore High Court (LHC) back in February 2020.
