Sindh government employees will be getting their salaries earlier and prior to Eid-ul-Azha this month.
As per details, Sindh government has directed the issuance of government employees’ salaries by July 16th in light of Eid-ul-Azha this month.
The premature disbursement of salaries is aimed at facilitating government employees to be able to make essential preparations regarding Eid-ul-Azha.
According to Met Department’s forecast, no chance of sighting the new moon of Zilhaj 1442 AH on the evening of July 10 i.e. 29th of Ziquad.
New moon of Zilhaj, 1442 AH will be born on crossing conjunction point at 06:18 Pakistan Standard Time (PST) on July 10th, said PMD.
Meanwhile, the weather is expected to be fair or partly cloudy in most parts of the country on the evening of July 10th.
Eid-ul-Azha 2021 is likely to fall on July 21st later this month.
Sindh Government Issues Notification For 20% Hike In Employees’ Salaries
The Government of Sindh has been pleased to sanction an Adhoc Relief Allowance – 2021 @20% of Basic Pay with effect from 1st July, 2021 to all civil servants of Sindh Government as well as contingent paid staff and contract employees against civil posts in Basic Pay Scales on standard terms and conditions of contract appointment, read the official notification.
The development comes as Sindh government in its provincial budget for FY2021-22 had approved a 20% hike in government employees’ salaries. The budget had also fixed the minimum wage at Rs 25,000 across province.
