Federal government on Saturday (today), launched COVID-19 Immunization certificate issuance portal to authenticate citizens’ vaccination against coronavirus.
Asad Umar – Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Reforms took to social media to announce the development.
COVID Immunization certificate issuance portal has been launched across the country today, he said.
Citizen’s whose vaccination process is complete (both doses) can now download COVID Immunization Certificate from NADRA’s website or get it issued by visiting NADRA Mega Centers.

Prior to this, the NCOC chief had warned that government will be forced to enforce stricter COVID-19 restrictions as the country is going through its third coronavirus wave.
Pakistan had launched second phase of nationwide COVID-19 vaccination drive for the people aged 60 and above on March 10th.
People above the age of 60 can get themselves registered via sending a text message at 1166 or can visit National Immunization Management System (NIMS) website.
It is pertinent to know that Pakistan launched its first nationwide COVID-19 inoculation drive on February 3rd after receiving 500,000 COVID-19 vaccine doses from China’s Sinopharm on February 1st.
