The federal government has launched a complaint management system for health workers combating the novel coronavirus.
Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Health Dr Zafar Mirza has announced that the government has launched a complaint management system in a bid to resolve issues faced by health workers.
He added the system will address grievances of healthcare workers on a priority basis.
Dr Zafar Mirza was addressing a media briefing after a National Command and Operation Centre meeting in Islamabad on Friday, and he said that when a complaint is lodged, the staff will determine which province the complaint is from and its category and then it will be forwarded to the government’s focal point in that province.
“Health workers can call on 1166 or message through WhatsApp on +923001111166 to register their complaint”, He maintained.
Zafar highlighted that the staff will also inform workers regarding the status of their complaint and how it has been resolved.
“The government has taken measures to facilitate the healthcare workers as they are on the frontline to fight coronavirus pandemic.”
