Federal government under PM Imran Khan is committed towards achieving its women empowerment goals, said Reema Imran.
Expressing her views during a ceremony held at Governor House Sindh on World Women Day April 1st Thursday last week, Reema Imran accentuated that inclusive policies to encourage and ensure women participation in every field is one of the primary goals of PTI government.
Furthermore, referring to a report regarding women-centric legislation, Governor Sindh Imran Ismail’s spouse underscored that enforcement of women property rights act 2020 provides legal cover to right of inheritance to women and specify action against illegal occupation of any property owned by woman whereas Anti-rape (investigation and trial) Ordinance 2020 would help swift dispensation of justice to victims of such heinous crimes.
Reema Imran noted that PTI government remains committed towards provision of women’s rights and ensuring their due and rightful societal status.
The event was also marked by presenting of honoray shields to various women who have achieved notable success in various fields.
Meanwhile, Aalia Sarib Burney also spoke at the event and said that Pakistani women have proven their mettle in every field with due support from their male relatives primarily fathers, brothers and husbands.
Expressing her views, SSP Naseem Ara highlighted that notable inclusion of women in police services prove that women must not fear from any particular field of interest, career and that they can achieve their goals via determination, courage and resolve.
