Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Qamar Javed Bajwa, on the occasion of nternational Day of UN Peacekeepers, reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment towards world peace and its continuing support for UN peace missions.
“Sense of Purpose and Commitment of Pakistan towards global peace under UN Charter remains unflinching,” said COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa according to the statement issued on social media by Director General Inter Services Public Relations (DGISPR).
Pakistan has a rich history of actively contributing towards several humanitarian and peace mission under United Nations (UN) in various countries around the world, especially Africa.

The International Day of United Nations Peacekeepers is being celebrated today, May 29th, to appreciate and highlight the significance of UN peace keepers who have been providing security and humanitarian assistance and aid across the globe.
