The funeral prayer of martyred Sepoy Hamid Rasool was offered with full military honour at the Frontier Corps (FC) Headquarters Wana and later in his hometown Jaswal, district Rawalpindi.
Sepoy Hamid Rasool had embraced martyrdom during an Intelligence Based Operation (IBO) in Shin Warsak, South Waziristan District.
The funeral prayer was attended by senior serving and retired officers, soldiers, injured comrades from the same operation, relatives, and a large number of people from civil society, ISPR said in a press release.

The armed forces have vowed to continue their efforts to root out terrorism and ensure the safety and security of the people of Pakistan.
