The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) on Tuesday, conducted a raid in Peshawar’s Ghaziabad area and neutralized four terrorists in the fierce gun battle that followed.
As per the details, CTD conducted an intelligence based operation (IBO) at a residential compound in Ghaziabad area of Peshawar on reports of it housing suspected terrorists.
Fierce firefight brokeout after the terrorists opened fire on the security forces, which then retaliated and killed all four terrorists.
“The terrorists opened fire on CTD personnel during a raid on the house, following which four terrorists were killed in retaliation,” said a CTF official.

Furthermore, CTD officials recovered four Kalashnikovs, six grenades and a large cache of ammunition from the house where the terrorists had been hiding.
