At least four terrorists are reported to have been killed in an encounter with Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) in Quetta.
As per details, CTD launched an anti-terror operation in Quetta’s suburban area during which the militants opened fire on the security forces.
At least four terrorists were killed during the gun battle between security forces and militants, meanwhile two terrorists managed to flee, said CTD spokesperson.
Security forces completed the operation in Aghburg area and further searched the compound occupied by the militants.
According to CTD spokesperson, security forces have recovered large amount of weapons and ammunition from the killed terrorists who have been identified as Fazal-ur-Rehman, Syed Riazuddin alias Thekedar, Syed Ramzan and Syed Matiullah, all of whom were involved in various attacks on security forces.
